Ingredients for Oatmeal Halwa
Dry coconut, 6 cashews, 6 almonds, 1 cup makhana, 10 – 12 raisins, 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup jaggery powder, 1/4 cup desi ghee, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder, 3 cups water, nutmeg.

How to make Dalia Halwa
Step 1: To make Dalia Halwa, first of all, turn on the gas and place a cooker on it. When the cooker becomes hot, add ghee in it. After the ghee is heated, roast cashew nuts and almonds in it. After that roast the dry coconut and finally roast the makhana. Roast the makhana last because it absorbs all the ghee. Now keep all these ingredients in a plate.

Second step: Now add two spoons of ghee in the same cooker and fry the porridge well. Fry the porridge on medium flame for at least ten minutes. When the porridge is roasted, add a cup of water to it and turn on the whistle of the cooker. Take it off after three to four whistles.

Step 3: While the porridge is cooking, prepare the jaggery syrup. Add one cup of water to one cup of jaggery powder and melt it well on the gas.

Fourth step: When the jaggery melts, turn off the gas. When the porridge is cooked, remove the lid of the cooker. Keep in mind that the porridge should melt completely. Now add jaggery water to the porridge and mix and stir well. Now add roasted dry fruits to it. You can also grind makhana coarsely and add it and mix well.

Fifth Step: Now in the last step, add cardamom powder and ground nutmeg and mix the porridge well once again.
