Will Vaibhav Suryavanshi play in the 2027 ODI World Cup? Big prediction of former Indian cricketer

Delhi: 15 year old star player Vaibhav Suryavanshi recently made his international debut in the T20 match against England. During this, former Indian cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has given a big statement saying that Vaibhav should get maximum opportunities and if he does well in T20, then he should also get a chance to play in the ODI World Cup to be held next year.

Laxman praised Vaibhav a lot

While talking to PTI, Laxman said that after T20, Vaibhav should get a chance in ODI also. According to him, if Vaibhav does well, he can also be seen playing in the 2027 ODI World Cup.

Laxman said, if he performs well in the T20 format, then he should definitely get a chance in the next 50-over World Cup. He is a player who can win matches on his own. When he scores runs, he will prove to be a match-winner in every format of white-ball cricket (ODI and T20).”

Vaibhav made his international debut on Saturday in the second T20 match of the five-match series against England. In the beginning the England bowlers bowled well. But, after this Vaibhav hit a brilliant six to the deadly bowler Joffra Archer. After Archer, in the very next over, he also hit a skyscraper six off the ball of Josh Tong. It seemed that Vaibhav would do something big on his debut. But, he was stumped out on the ball of off-spinner Will Jacques. Vaibhav scored 14 runs in 10 balls with the help of two sixes. Vaibhav will now be seen playing in the third T20 against England on Tuesday.
