Mathematics of eligibility and age limit
Talking about the educational qualification for Bihar Police SI post, it is mandatory for the candidate to have graduation from a recognized university. This qualification must be completed by August 1, 2025.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age for general category candidates has been fixed at 20 years and maximum 37 years. The maximum age limit for female candidates is 40 years. At the same time, for male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), the maximum age limit has been relaxed to 42 years.
Physical Criteria
Physical fitness has great importance in Inspector recruitment. For male candidates of general category, height must be 165 cm. Whereas, for male candidates belonging to Extremely Backward Class, SC and ST category, the minimum height is fixed at 160 cm. The minimum height for female candidates has been fixed at 155 cm. Apart from this, for men, it is mandatory for the chest to be 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm with expansion.
How will the selection happen?
The selection process for the posts of Bihar Police Sub-Inspector will be completed in three main phases. First of all the candidates will have to give written examination. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for Physical Eligibility Test (PET) and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who will clear all these stages will be entitled for final selection.
