Prince Harry’s trip to UK with his family has reportedly been hit with a bump in the road.

The Duke of Sussex will reportedly no longer stay at Buckingham Palace during his upcoming visit to the UK as previously planned.

The change comes after the Sussexes missed the deadline to formally accept King Charles’ offer of accommodation.

According to reports, Harry accepted the invitation only after making private security arrangements following the decision not to provide him with official protection.

A representative for Harry described the outcome as “disappointing,” while sources said the palace could no longer accommodate him because the required notice period had passed.

Explaining the delay, Prince Harry’s rep said “Following RAVEC’s decision not to provide security for his family, the Duke spent last week making alternative security arrangements. Once those arrangements were in place, he was able to formally accept the offer of accommodation for himself over the weekend.”

The news comes after it was announced that Harry, Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will be visiting UK after being in US for long.

It is now uncertain where the visiting family will stay.
