London, 6 July 2026: With the final of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 played at the historic ground of Lord’s and Australia’s grand victory in it, a new chapter has been added in the history of women’s cricket. After this success, BCCI Secretary Dewajit Saikia has openly praised ICC and especially its leadership.
In this exciting final played in the presence of more than 28,000 spectators, Australia defeated England by seven wickets and won the T20 World Cup title for the seventh time. Commenting on this historic win, Dewajit Saikia had said on social media platform

This transformation has inspired new cricket fans around the world.” In the final match, Australia displayed its best performance by surpassing England’s target of 150 runs in just 17.1 overs. Beth Mooney played a major role in Australia’s victory by playing a brilliant inning of 64 runs in 49 balls.
