‘He is the son of the Chief Minister, hence he gets work’… Ritesh Deshmukh told how he broke this tag with hard work.

Tezzbuzz Desk – Riteish Deshmukh has made a special mark in Bollywood with different characters like comedy, serious and villain in his career. He started his acting career with the film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, after which he worked in many hit films. However, in the initial phase of his career he often faced a special tag that his father was the Chief Minister, hence he gets films easily and his films remain successful.

During a recent task in the reality show ‘Lockup: Sach Ya Saza’, Riteish Deshmukh spoke openly on this issue. Responding to contestant Yogesh Rawat’s words, he shared his experiences and told how he faced such allegations.

Yogesh Rawat said in the show that he has suffered a lot of mental trouble due to the tag like ‘cheater’ and people are judging him without knowing the whole truth. He said that it is wrong to reveal only one side of any story and this has affected his image.

In response to this, Ritesh Deshmukh recalled his early days and said that even when he had entered films, people had said that his father is the CM, that is why he is getting work and his films are going on. Ritesh told that he worked hard for years to break this tag and today he has completed the journey of more than 60 films in 23 years.

He further said that it takes time to change the tag on any person, but with hard work and dedication it can be broken. This statement of Ritesh was inspirational for all the contestants present in the show.

Talking about work front, Riteish Deshmukh has made a strong mark in Bollywood as well as Marathi cinema. He has worked in many superhit films and not only acted but also directed the Marathi film ‘Raja Shivaji’, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Currently 14 contestants are participating in the show ‘Lockup’ and the format of the show is quite challenging. More new twists can be seen in the show with the entry of Shilpa Shinde in the coming episodes.
