USA vs Belgium Live: Charles De Ketelaere scored in the ninth minute to put Belgium in the lead in this Round of 16 clash against the United States of America. The 25-year-old forward scored his first goal of the tournament after being on the receiving end of some criticism for not scoring. The Red Devils, who came back from a two-goal deficit in their previous game after scoring their first goal in the 86th minute, have taken an early lead here in Seattle.

Charles De Ketelaere scored his first goal of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The forward, who plays his club football in Serie A for Atlanta, scored in the ninth minute of the game. With Belgium making some tough calls in terms of their starting lineup, Rudi Garcia and his men needed to make an impact early in the game. However, it has been a growing trend in the ongoing World Cup during the knockout stages, most particularly the Round of 32, where the team scoring first has gone on to lose the game.
With more than 70 minutes of action still left to be played, the hosts, USA, would know there is enough time to make a comeback in the game.
