Baruipur Rape-Murder: Injury in private part, teeth marks revealed on the body

The post-mortem report has made many important revelations in the case of kidnapping, rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Baruipur in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. According to the report, injury marks were found on the private parts of the girl. Apart from this, scratches and bite marks were also found at many places on the body. Doctors have also expressed the possibility of injury to the head from some heavy object.

 

According to the police, the girl’s body was recovered from a pond located near her house on Sunday morning. The post-mortem confirmed the presence of water in the lungs and stomach. Based on initial investigation, it is suspected that the girl was thrown into the pond while she was alive. Police believe that he died due to drowning after suffering serious head injuries.

Went out to get food, but didn’t return

According to the family, the girl had left home on Saturday afternoon to buy food items but did not return for a long time. Even after a lot of searching, no trace of him was found. After this the family lodged a complaint with the police and alleged that four people had kidnapped the girl. When his body was found in the pond on Sunday morning, there was a sensation in the entire area. Angered by the incident, people caught hold of a suspicious person and beat him to death.

Important clues found in post mortem report

According to police officials, the post-mortem report has revealed several serious injuries on the girl’s body. According to the report, injury marks were found on his private parts. Apart from this, scratches and teeth bite marks were also found at many places on the body. A serious injury was also found on the head, due to which it is being speculated that he was attacked with some heavy object or his head hit hard on some hard surface.

The report also revealed that water was found in the girl’s lungs and stomach. Due to this, the investigating agencies suspect that when he was thrown into the pond, he was still breathing. According to the post-mortem report, excessive bleeding and drowning in water are considered the probable causes of his death.

Three accused arrested, SIT is investigating

Police have arrested three people including the main accused in the case. Also, a six-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed, which is investigating the entire matter. Police are also scanning the nearby CCTV footage, in which four people have been seen going with the girl. In view of the tension in the area after the incident, the administration has imposed restrictive orders under Section 163 of the Indian Code of Justice (BNSS) and additional police forces have been deployed. The girl’s father has demanded death sentence for the culprits. Police say that the case is being thoroughly investigated from every aspect on the basis of scientific and technical evidence.
