State government promoted Tehsildar, Superintendent Land Records to the post of Deputy Collector, posting order issued

Madhya Pradesh Government has released the promotion list of Tehsildar, Superintendent Land Records, In-charge Deputy Collectors, the government has posted all of them with higher pay scale and has given instructions to take charge, promotion orders have been issued by the General Administration Department.

New grade pay applicable with promotion

MP GAD informed in the promotion order that the officers are promoted in the junior category pay scale of State Administrative Service PB – 3, Rs 15,600 – 3900 + 5400/- grade pay. This grade pay comes in the pay matrix level 12 shown in Madhya Pradesh Pay Revision Rules – 2017.

Important points in GAD order

The General Administration Department has clarified that the promotions made will be for a period of two years under the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1961. GAD has said in its order that the promoted government servant will have to submit his option for salary determination under Rule 13 of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Promotion Rules 2025 within one month from the date of receipt of the order.
