‘I love someone else’, wife revealed on wedding night, husband asked for security
A shocking case of relationship breaking up soon after marriage has come to light from Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. On the very first night of the marriage, the newlywed clearly told her husband that she loved someone else and wanted to live with him. The husband alleges that the wife threatened him of dire consequences and even murder. The matter passed through both the families and reached the women’s police station, where after counseling and written agreement in the presence of the police, the girl left with her lover.
However, the youth has demanded protection from the police, citing threat to his life. According to the information, a young man resident of Hapur was married to a girl from a village in Meerut district on June 25 as per Hindu customs. The family conducted the marriage with full enthusiasm but no one had any idea that this relationship would reach the verge of breaking within a few hours.

The bride made a big revelation on the wedding night
The husband alleges that on the very first night of the marriage the wife said in clear words that she was not happy with the marriage. She told that she was already in love with another young man and had to get married due to family pressure. She refused to live a married life with her husband. The young man alleges that when he tried to convince his wife, she threatened him with dire consequences and even murder if he touched her. Not only this, she started talking to her lover on the phone in front of the family. After this the matter became a cause of dispute between the two families.
When the situation worsened, both sides reached the women’s police station. The girl’s family told them to send her as per her wish, while the young man’s family refused to let her go without completing the legal process. After this the girl’s lover was also called to the police station and a conversation took place in the presence of the police.
The girl went with her lover after written agreement
Mahila Thana police counseled the girl. During interrogation, she reiterated that she wanted to live with her lover and that she was married under family pressure. After this, a written agreement was made between both the parties to avoid any legal dispute in future. The young man and his father also wrote that they do not want any legal action against the girl or her family. After the agreement the girl left with her lover.

Husband asked for protection from police
Even after the agreement, the youth has demanded his safety from the police. He says that he feels his life is in danger. Police say that necessary action will be taken on the basis of the application given by the youth and if the need for security is felt then steps will be taken as per rules.
In recent times, cases related to love affairs, marriages under family pressure and marital disputes are continuously coming to light from many parts of the country including Uttar Pradesh. Experts believe that clear consent and communication between both the parties before marriage can play an important role in avoiding such disputes.
