Which companies are included in SME IPO?

SME IPO is an IPO of small and medium-sized companies whose turnover and capital are smaller than that of mainboard companies. These companies are mainly listed on NSE Emerge and BSE SME. The minimum investment amount in SME IPO is higher and the lot size is also larger as compared to mainboard IPO. Also, in these, liquidity is considered relatively low and risk is high, because the size of the companies is small and the turnover is limited.

According to experts, the listing of a large number of small companies in the stock market shows that investors are now again looking towards the SME segment for new opportunities. Also, their confidence is returning.
