According to Cricbuzz reports, Bangladesh has proposed 3 venues for Asia Cup 2027. Bangladesh Cricket Board has selected Mirpur, Chattogram and Sylhet as venues. A big update has also come out regarding the schedule.

Let us tell you that Asia Cup 2027 will be played in ODI format, because according to the rules of Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the format of Asia Cup is decided on the basis of the big ICC tournament to be held that year. Now since the ODI World Cup is to be played in the year 2027, this time the Asia Cup will also be played in ODI format.

Due to tension in cricket relations between India and Bangladesh for some time, there is doubt regarding the organization of Asia Cup 2027. There is a constant discussion whether the Indian team will tour Bangladesh for this tournament, or like in 2023, this time too the matches will be held under the ‘hybrid model’ at a neutral venue like Sri Lanka or UAE.
