Suryakumar’s special message to Vaibhav Suryavanshi, what did he say…
Vaibhav becomes the youngest player to play international cricket for India
New Delhi. Former captain Suryakumar Yadav, who made India win the World Cup on home soil this year, praised the international debut of 15-year-old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi and said that this is the beginning of his exciting cricket journey and he will continue to bring glory to the country.
Suryavanshi from Bihar made his debut in the second T20 match played against England at Old Trafford and became the youngest player to play international cricket for India. He left behind the record of the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who debuted at the age of 16.
Suryakumar wrote on social media, I am very happy for the team. I always wish only the best for the players. I know all the players are giving their best and they will always have my full support.
Giving a special message for Suryavanshi, he said, “Vaibhav (Suryavanshi), a special thing for you, this is the beginning of your very exciting journey. Enjoy every moment and keep bringing glory to the country.
Suryakumar Yadav was later dropped from the team despite India winning the World Cup on home soil this year. Shreyas Iyer was given the captaincy in his place. Poor batting form for a long time in international cricket was one of the main reasons for Suryakumar’s exit from the team.
