Engineer Iqbal met Leader of Opposition Lal Bihari Yadav, said- ‘Victory will be for the public and teachers…’

Moradabad. Amidst the excitement of teacher and graduate MLC elections in Uttar Pradesh, senior leaders of Samajwadi Party (SP) have taken charge on the ground. After the important review meeting of SP held in Moradabad, discussions are intense in political circles. Chief SP leader of Thakurdwara (26 Assembly) Engineer Iqbal Hussain, who attended this meeting, has claimed a big victory of Samajwadi Party in the elections. He clearly said that this fight is not just for one seat, but for the ideology of socialism and the right to respect for teachers.

In fact, in this strategy meeting held at Clifton Banquet Hall, Kanth Road, Moradabad, Engineer Iqbal Hussain shared the stage with Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Lal Bihari Singh Yadav and teacher MLC candidate Danish Akhtar (Danish Ali). Sharing his experience and determination after the meeting, Engineer Iqbal Hussain said that he has been fortunate to receive the guidance of the top leadership, which has infused a new energy among the workers.

‘Socialism will continue to struggle for teachers’ rights’

While speaking in the meeting, Engineer Iqbal Hussain stressed on carrying forward the socialist ideology. He said, “Together we have resolved to strengthen the organization and carry forward the fight for teachers’ rights with more strength.” In fact, this time in the teachers MLC elections, SP is directly reaching out to the teachers on important issues like Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and honorarium. Iqbal Engineer expressed confidence that on the basis of socialist thinking, tremendous support of teachers and hard work day and night of grassroots workers, the party will achieve a historic victory in this teachers MLC election.
