IND vs ENG: Big change in Team India during England tour! Nitish Kumar Reddy out, Shivam Dubey’s entry
IND vs ENG, changes in Indian squad: Before the start of the ODI series against England, the Indian team has suffered a big shock. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the entire series due to injury. In his absence, the selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to include all-rounder Shivam Dubey in the team.
Team India is currently playing T20 series on England tour and after this a three-match ODI series will be played between the two teams. In such a situation, this change in the team just before the series is considered very important. Nitish’s injury has sidelined him for the second consecutive series, while Shivam Dubey will now have a big chance to prove himself.
IND vs ENG: Nitish Kumar Reddy out of entire ODI series
BCCI officially informed on July 6 that Nitish Kumar Reddy has not yet fully recovered from his quadriceps (thigh muscle) injury. He suffered this injury during the third ODI match against Afghanistan. For this reason, he remained out of the T20 series against Ireland and England and now he will not be able to take part in the three-match ODI series to be played against England from 14 to 19 July.

IND vs ENG: Shivam Dubey got a big chance
After Hardik Pandya’s injury, Nitish Kumar Reddy had a great opportunity to cement his place in the ODI team, but the injury dashed his hopes. Now the selectors have included Shivam Dubey in the team in his place. Shivam has the ability to contribute with both bat and ball and the team management will hope that he makes the most of this opportunity.
IND vs ENG: Didn’t get place in Zimbabwe T20 team either
Nitish Kumar Reddy has not got a place in the team not only for the England ODI series but also for the T20 series against Zimbabwe starting from July 23. This clearly indicates that the selectors do not want to rush into his fitness. Sanju Samson has also been kept out for the Zimbabwe tour, while young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been given a chance once again. Apart from this, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Prabhsimran Singh have been included in the Indian team for the first time.
