Ishan Kishan’s dominance continues in ICC T20 rankings, Jacob Baithal’s entry in top-10; Big blow to Suryakumar Yadav
Digital Desk: ICC has released the new T20 International batting rankings. Indian batsman Ishan Kishan remains at the top position in the latest rankings. His rating has improved and now he has 897 rating points in his account. Although earlier his rating had reached 904, but in the current update, despite decreasing slightly, he remains at the first position.
Tough competition between Ishaan and Abhishek
Two batsmen of the Indian team are currently at first and second position in the T20 batting rankings. Ishan Kishan is at the first position, while Abhishek Sharma remains at the second position with 881 rating points. The difference in ratings between the two players is very less, due to which the race for number-1 can become more exciting in the coming matches.
Jacob Baithal jumped seven places
England’s young batsman Jacob Batchelor has been rewarded for his excellent performance in the rankings. He has jumped seven places and secured the eighth position in the list of T20 batsmen. His current rating is 708.
Suryakumar Yadav out of top-10
This ranking was disappointing for former T20 captain of the Indian team Suryakumar Yadav. Being out of the team also affected his ranking and he has slipped five places to number 13. His current rating is 687, with which he is now out of the list of top-10 batsmen.
Two matches still left in India-England series
Two matches are still to be played in the ongoing T20 series between India and England. The fourth match will be held on 9th July and the fifth match will be held on 11th July. The performance of these two matches will be included in the next ICC rankings, due to which there may be a change in the ranking of the batsmen.
