Mamta Banerjee’s fierce form: slapped the crowd outside the house

On Wednesday, a political picture was seen in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, which surprised everyone. Trinamool Congress (TMC) was taking out a rally to protest against the gruesome rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Baruipur. This rally was going to start from Ballygunge Phadi and go till Hazra Crossing. But as soon as the convoy reached Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s house, the atmosphere completely heated up.

Tension increased due to throwing of eggs, huge ruckus on the road

During the protest, BJP workers tried to block the route of the rally and started raising slogans of ‘chor-chor’. TMC’s direct allegation is that BJP supporters threw eggs at their rally. Amidst this uproar, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee came out of her house. He tried to pacify the crowd and move away from there, but people did not move from their places and remained busy making videos on their mobiles. During this time, Mamata Banerjee’s temper reached the seventh sky.

Mamta gets angry and slaps her hard.

Angry Mamata Banerjee lost her temper and publicly slapped a person present in the crowd. After this he also wiped his hands on the backs of two other people. However, the identity of those whom Mamata killed is not yet clear. There was chaos in the area after this incident. During this rally, which was taken out with the permission of the High Court, BJP and TMC workers came face to face at many places, due to which the situation became so bad that the police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the crowd. Due to this whole ruckus, there was traffic jam and tension in South Kolkata for hours.

War of words: TMC vs BJP

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has held BJP responsible for this entire incident. He alleged that BJP attacked his rally, in which many women workers were injured. Mamta also targeted the police, accusing it of anarchy in Bengal. On the other hand, BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya has rejected all these allegations outright. He said that it was the TMC workers who had first instigated the BJP supporters, due to which the dispute escalated and the police were forced to resort to lathi charge.
