Flat pitch and small boundaries in IPL…

During the press conference, English fast bowler Joffra Archer told that the pitch in IPL is easy i.e. flat and the boundaries are small. There you have very little chance of making a mistake. Archer said, “You try to bowl on a good length. Whereas there, the wicket is very easy and the boundaries are very small. So you have to be very careful. Here I think you have a little more margin for error.”

Even total of 200 is not safe in IPL- Archer

Taking his point further, Archer said, “Sometimes a total of 200 is not safe in IPL. Here too we were not fully confident that this could not be chased. However, to chase it, a special innings was really needed. I think everyone contributed. The pitch was helpful to the bowlers and that is why everyone got wickets.”
