After NEET, there are serious questions on NET exam, no expectation of accountability and action: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday targeted the Central Government over the alleged irregularities in the UGC-NET examination and alleged that after NEET-UG, now serious questions have been raised regarding this examination too, but the Modi government is sleeping because the years of hard work of lakhs of students do not matter to it.
While sharing a news on ‘X’, Rahul Gandhi claimed that just before the UGC-NET exam in Haryana, PDF of the question paper was circulated which is available only with the National Testing Agency.
He alleged that about 90 questions of this PDF match the actual question paper of Sociology and the same question paper was being sold in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan for Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand.
The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said that the same network has also claimed to provide question papers of upcoming examinations like CSIR-NET, Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) and ADA.
He alleged that despite repeated allegations of scams in NEET and NET examinations, the Modi government is not taking any action because the years of hard work done by lakhs of students staying awake at night does not matter to it.
Rahul Gandhi said that it is useless to expect any accountability or action from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan because neither there will be an investigation nor the students will get justice. He said that the only way for change is the collective voice, the ‘echo of students’ across the country, which will bring about an education revolution in India.
