World premiere of ‘The Odyssey’ in London
Famous Hollywood director Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited film ‘The Odyssey’ had a grand premiere in London on Monday. The red carpet event was attended by the cast and crew of the film along with leading film critics from the US and UK. Soon after the screening, initial reactions to the film came in, with it being praised on social media. Many critics have called it Nolan’s best film till date, i.e. a ‘masterpiece’.
Critics’ praise: ‘No one can do this except Nolan’
Nolan’s grand approach to bringing Homer’s epic story to the screen has been praised by critics. Following the premiere, experts shared their views on the social media platform X. Steve Weintraub of Collider wrote, “‘The Odyssey’ is incredible. This movie completely blew me away. From the stellar performances to Nolan’s uncanny sense of humor, everything about this movie is amazing.”

Jazz Tangke of Variety praised the star cast, saying that the performances of Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, John Leguizamo, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o are truly extraordinary.
