‘Secret relationship’
Reports quoting police also say Avinash was having an affair with another woman in India.
According to the charging document cited by local media, Avinash admitted that he sent a photo of Raajitha’s body to his girlfriend the day after her death and spoke to her four times the day he allegedly killed his wife.
Charging documents said that he was in a “secret relationship” with the other woman even before his marriage to Raajitha, and the same continued after marriage.
Victim strangled to death
The couple reportedly tied the knot in June 2025, and started living together a month later.

Police, on breaking the door open had found Raajitha lying on the bathroom floor. She was pronounced dead.

Police, however, said that digital evidence proved that no one else had entered the house that day.
After examining data from the apartment’s front-door security and smart-lock system, police found that Avinash had briefly left the resident, but no one person entered the house.
