‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ fame Rajesh Sharma admitted to hospital, assistant told health update; The news of insect bite turned out to be wrong

Mumbai, July 9 . Amidst the news regarding the health of Bollywood’s powerful actor Rajesh Sharma, his assistant has now clarified the situation. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Special 26’, ‘M.S. Rajesh Sharma, who is known for his brilliant acting in films like ‘Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Ishqiya’, is admitted in the hospital these days. However, the news of him being bitten by an insect during the shooting of Prabhas’s film and reaching the hospital was completely wrong by his assistant.

The assistant said in the video released on social media that Rajesh Sharma was not bitten by any insect or poisonous spider. He clarified that the actor has been admitted to the hospital due to a diabetes-related health issue. At present his condition is stable, treatment is going on under the supervision of doctors and it is expected that he will be released from the hospital soon.

Earlier, actress Sudeepa Chatterjee had shared a post on Instagram claiming that Rajesh Sharma was bitten by some insect or poisonous spider at Ramoji Film City during the shooting of Prabhas’ upcoming film. According to the post, the actor did not take it seriously initially and returned to Kolkata after completing the shooting. During the journey, his health started deteriorating, he developed high fever and as the infection increased, he was admitted to the hospital in Dhakuria.

However, now the actor’s team has rejected these claims and said that these viral news are misleading and the reason for his illness is complications related to diabetes. Talking about the work front, in recent years Rajesh Sharma has been seen in films and web series like ‘Crew’, ‘Paatal Lok’, ‘Dabangg 3’, ‘Mardaani 2’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Batla House’, ‘Dream Girl’ and ‘The Tashkent Files’. Recently he played the role of Sub-Inspector Carlos Lobo in Rajkumar Hirani’s web series ‘Pritam and Pedro’.
