Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ is in bad shape at the box office: 33% decline on the sixth day, will YRF spy universe get another big blow?

Looking at the box office collection of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s most awaited spy-thriller film ‘Alpha’ on Tuesday, it seemed that perhaps the problems of the film are reducing now, but Wednesday’s results have again increased the worries of the makers. Six days have passed since the release of the film and on the sixth day, the earning of ‘Alpha’ has reached its lowest level till date. Seeing the way the film gained momentum in the first weekend of its release, it seemed that it would easily cross its budget of Rs 100 crore. But now finding the budget has become the biggest task for the film. If the film fails to recover the budget, it will be a huge blow for Alia Bhatt, as her previous film ‘Jigra’ also flopped badly at the box office. Earnings fell drastically on the sixth day, occupancy was only 10%. According to the latest report of film box office tracker Sacnilk, on Wednesday (sixth day) there has been a huge decline of 32.9% in the business of ‘Alpha’ as compared to Tuesday. The film has made a business of only Rs 2.85 crore at the Indian box office on Wednesday, whereas its collection a day earlier on Tuesday was Rs 4.25 crore. The film has a total of 7,321 shows across the country, but despite this the occupancy rate in theaters has fallen to only 10 percent. 6 Days Box Office Collection (Complete Earnings Details) If we look at the film’s earnings so far, its graph is showing a continuous decline since the first weekend: Day 1 (Friday): ₹9.25 crore Day 2 (Saturday): ₹11.50 crore Day 3 (Sunday): ₹13.25 crore Day 4 (Monday): ₹3.85 crore Day 5 (Tuesday): ₹4.25 crore Day 6 (Wednesday): ₹2.85 crore With this decline, the total net Indian box office collection of ‘Alpha’ has reached ₹44.95 crore. At the same time, if we talk about gross collection in India, then this figure is Rs 53.59 crore. In terms of worldwide collection, the film has earned a total of Rs 74.89 crore so far. Is ‘Alpha’ on its way to flop like ‘War 2’? This seems to be a very difficult time for the spy universe of Yash Raj Films (YRF). Earlier, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer ‘War 2’, made with a huge budget of Rs 450 crore, had flopped badly at the box office, due to which the makers had to suffer a loss of crores. Now Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ also seems to be standing on the same verge. If this film has to avoid the tag of flop, then it will have to at least make its budget (Rs 100 crores) in the domestic market so that it can at least be included in the category of ‘average’ films. Earlier, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ was not a flop, but it also did not earn as per expectations. Now everyone’s eyes are on how much the film can make a comeback in the coming weekend.
