Saudi Arabia: 1000 people will perform Umrah at King Salman’s expense, first group of pilgrims reached Medina
The first group of pilgrims under the Umrah program of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has arrived in Medina city of Saudi Arabia. Through this special initiative, people from different countries of the world are getting the opportunity to perform Umrah. Saudi Press Agency (SPAENG) shared its official information on July 9.
This first group reached Madina consisting of 16 Asian countries. 250 male and female pilgrims Are included. These countries include Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mongolia.
King Salman has approved to provide Umrah facilities to a total of 1,000 people at his personal expense. These guests will come to Saudi Arabia in four different groups throughout the year. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance had completed all preparations by July 5 so that the guests did not face any problems.
A special program has been prepared for these pilgrims during their stay in Medina. They will be taken to important museums and historical sites related to the biography of the Prophet and Islamic civilization. After this all these pilgrims will leave for Mecca.
The pilgrims who took part in this program have heartily thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He has praised the excellent facilities and high-quality services available there.
