BSNL launches phone more expensive than iPhone, price Rs 1,34,166
Desk: Government telecom company BSNL has launched a new satellite phone in India. This satellite phone is for commercial use, the general public cannot use the satellite phone without permission. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has clearly stated that users or organizations can use this satellite phone only after getting permission.
You can connect to communication networks on the go, even in areas where there are no terrestrial networks. You can make voice calls anywhere and get emergency support when needed. Users also get long battery life by using BSNL satellite phones. Satellite networks can reach areas where mobile networks cannot.
This satellite phone of this government telecom company has been launched for Rs 1 lakh 34 thousand 166, this price includes tax. In terms of price, this phone is more expensive than Apple iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and Samsung’s latest Galaxy S26 Ultra.
