Discussion regarding professional management structure in Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust, official decision not yet released

Discussions have intensified on the issue of making the management and administrative system of Ram temple in Ayodhya more professional. According to sources, a plan is being considered to manage the work of the Trust in a systematic and professional manner like a big corporate or multinational company. Under this, a plan is being considered to make temple management, financial system, devotee services and administrative operations more streamlined by appointing trained and experienced professionals in various departments.

According to the information, under the proposal, there is a discussion on assigning responsibilities to experts in various fields. This may include professionals involved in financial management, human resources, information technology, security, public relations, pilgrim management and other administrative services.

Meanwhile, discussion has also come up regarding the possible role of an IAS officer within the trust. Some reports have claimed that some members of the Trust do not want to give such posts to working or retired IAS officers, due to which there is a possibility of increased government interference. However, this claim is based on relevant reports and sources and no official decision has been announced by the Trust on this issue.

According to management experts, considering the increasing number of devotees in major religious institutions in the country, adopting a professional management system can improve transparency, accountability and quality of service. With this, financial management, digital services, security arrangements, crowd control and management of facilities can be managed in a more systematic manner.

A large number of devotees reach Ayodhya every day to visit the Ram temple. In such a situation, the challenge before the temple administration remains to continuously improve crowd management, security, cleanliness, transportation, Prasad distribution, donation management and other arrangements. According to experts, professional administrative structure can be helpful in facing these challenges.

According to legal experts, the formation, appointments and administrative decisions of the Trust are taken only in accordance with the rules, bye-laws of the Trust and applicable legal provisions. For any major change, it is necessary to take an official decision of the Trust and follow the necessary procedures.

At present no final official announcement has been made by the Trust on this issue. Any decision regarding appointment of professional staff, possible changes in administrative structure and role of IAS officer will be considered confirmed only after an official statement or proposal from the Trust.
