Google’s big announcement! AI Agent in Search Ads in India, Gemini Ads tools also launched
In a big announcement for the digital advertising sector in India, Google has launched Gemini-powered AI Agent in Search Ads. Along with this, the company has also introduced several AI-based advertising tools like Business Agent for Leads, Ask Advisor and YouTube BrandStack developed in India. These new features will further automate ad creation, customer interaction and ad campaign management.
Business Agent for Leads introduced by Google is a new AI feature in Search Ads. Users will be able to interact directly with the AI Agent while viewing a Search ad. This AI Agent is trained based on information from the respective company’s website, and will answer user queries and help generate qualified leads. The beta version of this feature has started in India and early access has been given to UpGrad, an Indian EdTech company.
Ask Advisor will provide AI advice for marketing
Google has also introduced Ask Advisor, a Gemini-powered AI tool. The tool will analyze data from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform and soon Merchant Center to give advertisers personalized suggestions for their business.

A new direction for YouTube BrandStack and AI Advertising

According to Google, search queries of people using AI Mode are almost three times longer than traditional search. The company claims that 84% of users in India make faster decisions thanks to AI Mode, while 87% of users help make decisions with more confidence.
Bigger role of AI in Google’s advertising business
According to data released by Google in April 2026, advertising revenue in Q1 2026 was $77.25 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.5 percent. During the same period, YouTube Ad Revenue was $9.88 billion. With nearly three-fourths of the company’s total revenue coming from advertising, it is investing heavily in AI technology.
