Nana Patwari told the media that the entire case is fake, my fault is that I am Jitu Patwari’s brother, Congress President retorted.

Nana Patwari, brother of Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, has described the case made against him by the Indore Police as completely fake. On Thursday, amidst discussions about the whole day’s detention and arrest, the police left the matter of questioning to Nana late in the evening. Nana Patwari, who came in front of the media with his lawyer, said that I have nothing to do with those arrested by the police in the drugs case. On the other hand, Jitu Patwari has called it an act of revenge by the BJP government of the state.

Nana Patwari expressed his views openly and narrated the story of the day on Thursday, he told that he was going to get his car serviced, on the way the police stopped him and took him away. Nana Patwari said that the police kept taking him around in his car the whole day, but did not ask him a single question regarding the drugs case. He was not even told why he was detained.

Nana said – My fault is that I am the brother of Jeetu Patwari.

Answering the media’s questions, Nana Patwari said that the police did not ask him any questions, did not talk to him from morning till evening, when the police brought him to the police station in the evening and asked the names of those boys, I said that I know that they live in my assembly, he said that the police had taken my mobile, the whole case is fake, my fault is that I am the brother of Jitu Patwari.

Nana’s lawyer gave information about 9 police cases

Nana Patwari’s lawyer Jai Hardiya told the media that out of the 9 cases that the police are talking about, 5 cases were committed during the farmers’ movement in Rajendra Nagar police station area in 2017. Nana has got bail in all of them. There are 17 more accused in that case but only Nana’s name is taken. Why? Nana has been acquitted in 2 other cases. There is a case of Teja Ji Nagar in which bail has also been granted and till date the police has not been able to present the challan. He said that the cases the police are talking about are undertrials, Nana is being targeted because he is the brother of the state president.

Jitu Patwari targeted the government

After this incident, Jitu Patwari has targeted the BJP government of the state regarding this, he said that the police caught my brother in a case in which he has nothing to do, this is an act of revenge, this government wants to harass my family but we will neither be troubled nor will we bow down, if necessary we will not shy away from even going to jail. He said that it is our right to ask questions, the Chief Minister should come and answer the allegations leveled against the government.
