Smriti Mandhana created history at Lord’s, made a big record at the age of 30

INDW vs ENGW test: Star batsman Smriti Mandhana registered a big achievement in the only Test match being played between the Indian women’s cricket team and England at Lord’s. Mandhana played the 300th international match of her career with this match and became the youngest female cricketer to do so. He achieved this position at the age of just 30. So far only 12 players have played 300 or more international matches in women’s cricket. Mandhana is the third player from India to join this club. Before her, Mithali Raj (333 matches) and Harmanpreet Kaur (374 matches) had achieved this feat.

Talking about the match, England won the toss and decided to bowl first. India had a bad start and Shafali Verma was out without opening the account, while Yastika Bhatia returned to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs. After this, Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues took charge of the innings but Jemimah lost her wicket at the score of 35. Till the time of writing the news, India had scored 146 runs for 3 wickets in 17 overs. Mandhana was present at the crease after scoring 64 runs and Harmanpreet 26 runs.
