Bihar: BJP changed candidate on Bankipur seat, Prashant Kumar attacked, said- candidate ran away in fear

The by-election of Bankipur Assembly of Bihar is going to be very interesting. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Jansuraj have announced their candidates. BJP has once again surprised everyone on this seat. BJP had earlier made Abhishek Kumar Sinha its candidate but later Abhishek Kumar withdrew his name citing family reasons. After which BJP has fielded Neeraj Kumar Sinha as a new candidate on Friday.

As soon as BJP announced the new candidate, the rhetoric in Bihar politics also intensified. Jansuraj Party founder and Bankipur seat candidate Prashant Kumar has taken a dig at this development and made serious allegations against the BJP.

Jansuraj candidate Prashant Kishore said that BJP is scared of him. There is no power in front of people’s power, till now people used to run away due to fear of BJP, but this is the first time that justice has been done that BJP candidate ran away. Accusing the BJP, he said that these people used to get the nomination canceled by horse-trading, get anyone to join their party and now their candidate left the field in the very first fight. He said that whatever one does to whomever one does, one will get the same back.

Bankipur match will be interesting

Let us tell you that RJD has made Rekha Devi its candidate from Bankipur assembly seat. At the same time, Jansuraj’s founder Prashant Kishore is also contesting from the same seat. On the other hand, BJP has made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate. With BJP’s Neeraj Kumar Sinha, RJD’s Rekha Devi and Jansuraj’s Prashant Kishore in the fray, the contest on the Bankipur assembly seat is likely to be very interesting and triangular.

Why is by-election being held on Bankipur seat?

Let us tell you that Bankipur assembly seat was earlier represented by Nitin Nabin of BJP. Later BJP made him its Rajya Sabha candidate, where he was elected unopposed as Rajya Sabha member. After this he resigned from the membership of Bankipur Assembly, due to which this seat became vacant. After the seat became vacant, the Election Commission announced Bankipur Assembly by-election. Voting on this seat will be held on July 30, while the results will be declared after counting of votes on August 3.
