Heavy rain in next 48 hours, IMD’s alert for states, know the condition of your city
Humidity has increased in many states of the country. Now there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in these states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that due to the impact of the low pressure area formed in the northern part of Central Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
In the last 24 hours, heavy rainfall has been recorded in Uttarakhand, Himachal and Western Uttar Pradesh. According to IMD, rainfall activities are going to be less in Central India and Southern India in the next 6-7 days. Rain is expected to continue in the north-western states for the next several days.

Where has it rained in the last 24 hours?
Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh recorded rainfall of 21 cm or more. Very heavy rainfall of 12-20 cm occurred over East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, Bihar and Haryana. Heavy rainfall of 7-11 cm was recorded in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, East Rajasthan and West Bengal on Thursday.
How will be the weather today?
Heavy to very heavy rain may occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh from July 10 to 12 and Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from July 10 to 16. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Western Uttar Pradesh today and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh from July 10-13. There may be heavy rain at isolated places in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal, Uttarakhand and Western Uttar Pradesh.
How will the weather be in Central India?
There will be rain at isolated places in Western Madhya Pradesh from 11 to 16 July, in Eastern Madhya Pradesh from 11 to 14 July and in Vidarbha from 11 to 13 July. East Madhya Pradesh may receive good rain again on 15-16 July. There is also a warning of storm, lightning and strong winds of 40-60 kilometers per hour in these areas.
How will the situation be in the North-East?
There is a possibility of rain over the entire region of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from July 10 to 16. There may be very heavy rain at isolated places in these states on July 10 to 11. West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha will also see rain and thunderstorm activities for the next several days.

How will the weather be in western and southern India?
Good rains are expected to continue over Konkan and Goa from July 10-16. There will be scattered rain in some parts of Gujarat and Maharashtra. In South India, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and coastal Andhra Pradesh may receive widespread rainfall in the next days. How will the weather be?
The sky will remain cloudy in Delhi for the next few days. The temperature may rise slightly in Delhi from July 11 to 13, but clouds and light rain are expected to continue.
Where is the danger greater?
IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea in parts of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Dangerous conditions may prevail in many areas of the Arabian Sea from 11 to 15 July and in the Bay of Bengal from 11-15 July.
