An emotional drama was seen in the recent episode of the reality show ‘Lockup’. Sunita Ahuja had to leave the show due to her ill health. Her husband and Bollywood superstar Govinda reached the stage with their daughter Tina to receive her. When Govinda and Sunita came face to face on stage, the atmosphere became very emotional. Govinda praised Sunita on the stage and said that he can never forget the mother of his children. At the same time, daughter Tina also described her mother as a very ‘strong’ woman.
Why was Govinda refusing to let Sunita do the show?
On the stage, when Farah Khan asked Sunita why Govinda had refused to do the show, Govinda replied that his wife was ‘brought up in flowers’ and never faced any problem in her life. The actor prayed that no sorrow would ever come to his life in future. On the other hand, when Farah told that people have become crazy about the language (abuse) used by Sunita in the show, Govinda laughingly revealed that his acquaintances often used to send him those videos of Sunita. Govinda jokingly said that he endured everything just thinking ‘no problem’.
Family’s lessons and Farah’s revelation on Sunita
While leaving the show, Sunita said that she has learned a big lesson from this journey – family matters should be kept within the family. During this, Govinda looked very emotional. He said that by the grace of God he has come out of every difficulty and the people who are associated with him love him very much. Lightening the mood, Farah Khan explained to Govinda that Sunita is angry only because she needs Govinda’s attention. Farah clearly said, “See Chichi, she loves you only, whatever she says is only because she is hurt somewhere.” On this, actor Ritesh quipped that he needs ‘100 percent’ attention.
Talk about ‘visible and invisible lockups’
After listening to Ritesh, Govinda took out a deep meaning and said that we all live in many types of ‘lockups’. He said, “This lockup is what is visible, but what is not visible are many lockups, and I am coming through them.” Sunita bid goodbye to the show on stage with her daughter Tina. In the end, Farah Khan appealed to Govinda to especially take care of Sunita, after which the entire family walked out of the show.
