Why was Javed Jaffrey left behind even after his superhit debut? The actor told what was the biggest obstacle in his career.

New Delhi. Bollywood’s best actor, dancer and comedian Javed Jaffrey has spoken openly about his long journey in the film industry. He admitted that despite having talent and hard work, he could never make his place among the A-list stars of Bollywood. Javed believes that acting alone is not the guarantee of success in the film industry, but strong PR, good network and continuous big successes also determine the identity of an artist.

During a conversation, Javed Jaffrey said that the career of any artist depends on how he is presented. According to him, the industry has its own mechanism where PR and being part of a group sometimes helps in moving forward. If a positive environment is continuously created about an artist, then new opportunities increase for him, whereas a negative image can slow down the pace of his career.

Javed admitted that he could never become a part of this system. He said that he neither took the help of any group nor ran a separate campaign for himself. This was the reason why he did not get the recognition and opportunities he deserved. According to him, only after getting success in the industry, people’s perspective changes rapidly and then the same artist becomes everyone’s first choice.

To explain his argument, Javed also gave the example of Salman Khan. He said that Salman’s early films did not get the success that was expected and there were not many positive things about him at that time. But when a big hit film came, the whole atmosphere changed and Salman became one of the biggest stars of the industry. Javed says that the artist remains the same but a big success changes his entire image.

Javed also mentioned his first film Meri Jung. He told that he was introduced as a villain in this film. The film was successful but the audience and filmmakers started seeing him in the same image. According to him, if any director at that time had given him a chance in a light-hearted, entertaining or music-oriented film, his image could have changed and his career could have taken a new direction.

He also said that he never put himself forward for different types of characters. Although he has no regrets about this. He believes that the journey of every artist is different and he has done his part with complete honesty. He has created his own identity in many fields like acting, dance, comedy and voice over, which has received immense love from the audience.

Talking about work front, Javed Jaffrey is in discussion these days about the film Dhamaal 4. Many popular actors including Ajay Devgan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi are seen with him in this comedy-filled film. The audience is hopeful that once again Javed will entertain everyone with his excellent comic timing.
