The Home Department of ‘Azad Jammu and Kashmir’ has requested immediate deployment of 4,000 Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel and seven wings of Pakistan Rangers.
According to secret documents, a large number of forces are already deployed in Occupied Kashmir. However, the administration does not think it is enough. Because of which this new force is being brought. The aim of which will be to completely disable the movement in Occupied Kashmir. The order specifically states that 50 percent of the army jawans arriving will be equipped with arms and ammunition, while the remaining 50 percent will be used for riot control. All in all, it is feared that the army is going to do something big in occupied Kashmir. It is feared that the army may go on the path of genocide in suppressing the rebellion.
It is to be noted that tension has reached its peak in Occupied Kashmir due to the regional elections to be held on July 27. JAAC has called for a massive protest march towards Muzaffarabad on the eve of the commencement of the nomination process from June 9. All in all, Occupied Kashmir is witnessing a political conflict unprecedented in the recent past. The protesters demanded the abolition of 12 seats in the Legislative Assembly reserved for Kashmiri refugees settled in Pakistan. JAAC argues that Islamabad is creating disproportionate influence in POC politics through these seats. The court said the 12 reserved seats are constitutionally protected. Cannot be canceled by court order. This requires a constitutional amendment. In this situation, the mass movement in PoK has reached its peak. Protesters have set a forty-eight-hour deadline. In this situation, the Pakistan Army is becoming more strict in suppressing the insurgency in Occupied Kashmir.
