Noida Cyber ​​Crime Police has exposed a big gang committing cyber fraud by promising jobs in reputed aviation companies including Noida International Airport. Police have raided a fake call center located in Sector-22 and arrested five accused. This call center was being operated in the name of “LAMBODAR INSTITUTE”. This information was given by DCP Cyber ​​Shaivya Goyal. Police have arrested five people in this case.

DCP Cyber ​​Shaivya Goyal said that this action was taken on the basis of accurate information received from Prakharpan portal, technical analysis, surveillance and local intelligence. During interrogation, the accused admitted that they used to extort money from unemployed youth at different stages by promising them jobs in aviation companies and training institutes.

How did the accused contact the people?

DCP Cyber ​​said that investigation revealed that the accused used to contact people by posing as representatives of institutions like Nimbus, Star Airways, Aerofly Aviation Academy, Future Academy Training & Aviation and Core Aviation. After this, they used to charge amounts ranging from thousands to lakhs of rupees in the name of online interview, selection, offer letter, admission confirmation, training, medical, uniform, security deposit, registration and processing fees.

How were applications invited?

DCP Cyber ​​Shaivya Goyal further said that the accused had also prepared a fake website related to Noida International Airport. Through this website, people were cheated by inviting applications in the name of jobs and other services. Apart from this, fake offer letters and certificates were prepared by illegally using the names and logos of many aviation institutes, so that the candidates could be easily duped.

The amount obtained from the fraud was deposited in different Mule bank accounts and later distributed among the accused. Many complaints have also been registered in this matter on the National Cyber ​​Crime Reporting Portal. Further investigation is being done by registering a case under various sections of the Indian Justice Code and Information Technology Act in Cyber ​​Crime Police Station, Noida.

What was seized from the accused?

18 mobile phones, 6 laptops, one CPU, 10 active SIM cards, 5 headphones, 2 checkbooks, 4 debit cards, one credit card, stamps of two companies, 13 fake aviation certificates, a large number of fake offer letters and admission confirmation letters, 76 pages of calling data, calling scripts, details of candidates, diaries and other electronic and documentary evidence have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

DCP Cyber ​​says that the investigation of other people, bank accounts, websites and digital networks associated with this gang is going on. Besides, it is also being ascertained how many people across the country were made victims of this gang.
