Patna: A very sensational incident has come to light from Vaishali district of Bihar early on Sunday morning, which has shocked the entire area. Due to personal rivalry and road dispute, a Kalyugi nephew brutally shot and killed his own uncle and cousin in Rajaso village of Bidupur police station area. 60 year old Munarik Rai and his 35 year old son Jitendra Kumar have died in this heinous double murder. Deceased Jitendra Kumar was a soldier in the Indian Army. Who had come to his home after taking leave just a few days ago. After this incident, there is a mournful silence in the entire village and a situation of tension prevails.
Rapid firing on father and son sitting at the door
According to local sources and media reports, on Sunday morning Munarik Rai and his soldier son Jitendra Kumar were sitting at the door of their house as usual. Meanwhile, Munarik Rai’s real nephew suddenly arrived there along with some of his unknown companions. The dispute increased between both the sides. The nephew took out his pistol and started firing rapidly at the father and son. Hearing the sound of firing, there was panic in the village and a large number of villagers started gathering at the spot. Taking advantage of this chaos, the accused nephew fled from the spot along with his associates.
Police engaged in investigation
Seeing the sensitivity of the incident, Sadar SDPO-1 Subodh Kumar and City Police Station Head Sikandar Kumar immediately reached Sadar Hospital with their team and took possession of the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Police officials have taken complete information about the incident from the relatives of the deceased and eyewitnesses. In the initial investigation, the reason behind the murder is said to be an old family dispute over land and road. The police administration has deployed police force to prevent any possible tension in the village.
Died before reaching the hospital
The villagers and family members hurriedly took seriously injured Munarik Rai and Jitendra Kumar to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for treatment. The doctors of the hospital declared both of them dead after preliminary examination. As soon as information about this incident was received, a huge crowd of people gathered at Sadar Hospital and there was chaos in the family of the deceased.
Crying condition of family members is bad
The family members are in bad condition and crying. It is being told that army soldier Jitendra Kumar has two small children, who have lost their father. Deceased Munarik Rai was a prominent person of the area and had earlier tried his luck for the post of Mukhiya during the Panchayat elections.
