Till now, robots have been seen working in many fields like factories, hospitals, kitchens, war and driving, but an event took place in the Russian capital Moscow which surprised people. A symbolic marriage ceremony of two humanoid robots was organized here, pictures and videos of which are becoming increasingly viral on social media.

The people present at the function welcomed both of them with applause.
Wedding rituals performed in traditional style
Held at Moscow’s famous Pushkin Library, many traditional rituals were performed to give the event a wedding-like atmosphere. Both robots repeated pre-programmed dialogues and oaths. Another special attraction of the ceremony was the robotic dog ‘Dogmatic’, who carried wedding bracelets to the stage. After this, both the robots put the bracelets on each other through prescribed movements and the host symbolically declared them “robot husband and wife”.

After the video of this unique event surfaced, discussion started among people on social media whether robots will be able to develop emotions like humans in the future. However, the developers and organizers associated with the event clarified that it was a technical presentation based entirely on a pre-prepared script.
He explained that the aim was to show how much modern home robots have now advanced in capabilities such as voice recognition, conversation, following instructions and carrying out complex activities. This event did not claim that robots have human emotions, but was merely a demonstration of the development of robotics and AI technology.
