What causes eczema?
Eczema: Eczema is a skin condition that increases the problems of itching, swelling, dryness, redness and irritation in the skin. This problem can occur at any age. Why does this happen?
Family history: If you have a history of skin allergies in your family, it can trigger you too. If your parents or siblings have had this problem, you may also have eczema.
Environmental Factors: Environmental factors can also trigger eczema. Seasonal changes, such as temperature fluctuations or the water and air of a new place, can trigger or aggravate eczema.
Overactive Immune System: Eczema can also be caused by an overactive immune system. When the immune system overreacts to common things like dust, soap or the like, the skin becomes swollen and itchy.
To control eczema, one has to avoid consuming those things which cause allergy. Do not leave the treatment prescribed by the doctor midway. The skin should not be dry so always use moisturizer on that area.
