Such people will have to trust the democratic system. Those who threatened with force of arms have got the answer. Naxalism has been eradicated in the entire country.
The Chief Minister said that Indore is also known for its past glory. Goddess Ahilya built stepwells and ghats at many places. Our government did water conservation work. Beautified old ponds and stepwells. This time a water conservation campaign was run for three months. Indore is moving forward to cover the mountains with a blanket of greenery. Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers. Malwa region is blessed with rivers.
The rivers Gambhir, Chambal and Shipra of the Ganga basin originate around Indore and join the Ganga. We are proud that these daughters of the earth originate from our region. He said that the danger of El Nino storm is also visible during the rainy season, but trees play a big role in countering all these dangers. Like sages, they do penance by standing at one place and give us results.
State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal said that Indore has been deciding what the economic direction of the state should be, but now what the environment of the state should be like will also be decided by Indore. Constant care is being taken of greenery here. First a world record was created by planting 12 lakh trees and now 17 lakh trees are being planted.
Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that earlier 15.5 lakh trees were planted in Indore. This time we are planting 22.5 lakh trees. There is no space left in Indore now. We are planting big trees on rocky land. Maximum number of trees have been planted in Indore under the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ campaign.
