He gave information about the state-of-the-art health facilities set up in India and the functioning of the Ministry of AYUSH. Minister Jadhav highlighted that it is a matter of great pride that the AYUSH Ministry, under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has recognized the power of India’s traditional healing systems and taken them to the global stage beyond national boundaries.

Elaborating on the matter, he mentioned that Prime Minister Modi set up the Ministry of AYUSH with independent charge to fully utilize the potential of India’s traditional healing systems. Since taking charge of the Ministry, more than 12,500 ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandirs’ have been commissioned across the country in the last two years.

AYUSH hospital with 50 beds in each district: Prataprao Jadhav

Around 50 AYUSH hospital units have already been set up and in future there are plans to set up 50 bedded hospitals in each district. Emphasizing this point proudly, he said that in the recently announced budget, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the establishment of three ‘All India Institutes of Ayurveda’. Provision has also been made in this budget for modernization of laboratories.

A grand vision for the Ministry of Ayush

Speaking on research in Ayurveda, he mentioned that the Indian Ayurveda medical system has a history of 5,000 years and the contribution of ancient Indian sages. Research centers have been established over the past 12 years to carry forward this legacy, resulting in the publication of more than 10,000 research papers. National organizations have been established to maintain the quality of Ayurvedic medicines. In his speech, Prataprao Jadhav mentioned that there is no competition between traditional and modern medical practices.

Future Policy

Our sole aim is to improve people’s health by integrating both methods. Talking about political issues, he mentioned that ‘Operation Tiger’ was successful only because of the work done by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Discussing future policies in Delhi, he said his plans focus on maintaining a positive image of the party, doing public works and strengthening the ‘Mahayuti’ alliance.
