300 km ring road will be built in UP, great news for these districts

Lucknow. Many ambitious projects towards the comprehensive development of the State Capital Region (SCR) of Uttar Pradesh have received in-principle approval at the departmental level. These projects include the 300 km long SCR Outer Ring Road, Namo Bharat Corridor from Kanpur to Ayodhya, Ring Rail Project, new industrial clusters and large-scale development work around the Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway.

300 kilometer long outer ring road will be constructed

About 300 km long Outer Ring Road will be developed to connect Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Barabanki, Sitapur, Unnao and Hardoi of SCR region. The project is planned to be completed in two phases. In the first phase, 105 km of road will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 2,100 crore, while in the second phase, about Rs 3,900 crore will be spent on the construction of the remaining 195 km stretch. With its completion, traffic between these districts will be fast and easy.

Namo Bharat corridor will be built from Kanpur to Ayodhya

Among the biggest projects in the meeting is the 187 km long Namo Bharat Corridor. The estimated cost of this project to be built under the High Speed ​​Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) is Rs 32 thousand crores. The corridor will be constructed in two phases. In the first phase, about 67 kilometers of route will be developed from Nayaganj in Kanpur to Amausi. A total of 12 stations are proposed in the entire project, which include Nayaganj, Unnao, Basiratganj, Nawabganj, Banthra, Amausi, Sushant Golf City, Juggaur, Bareil, Safdarganj, Bhitaria and Ayodhya.

Ring rail project will also gain momentum

A 151 km long Ring Rail project will also be developed in the SCR region. There is a plan to build 63 kilometers of rail line in the first phase and 88 kilometers of rail line in the second phase. The project aims to strengthen regional rail connectivity and reduce traffic pressure.
