IND vs ENG: The three-match ODI series between India and England will start from July 14. Just a day before the start of the series, England has announced its playing-11 for the first ODI match. Most of the senior players have been included in the playing eleven of the English team. The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and England will be played on July 14 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The playing 11 of Team India will be known at the time of toss.

Joe Root and Ben Duckett return to England’s playing 11

Harry Brook will once again be seen taking command of the England team, which recently made a clean sweep of the Indian team in T20I. England has made only a few changes in the ODI team compared to the T20 series. The return of Joe Root and Ben Duckett in ODI has further strengthened England’s batting. Josh Tong has also been included in the playing 11. Apart from these, all the other players are the same who were playing the T20 series.

Jacob Bethel, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Harry Brook (captain), Jos Buttler (wicketkeeper), Sam Curran, Will Jacques, Joffra Archer, Liam Dawson, Josh Tong, Adil Rashid.

Bethel-Duckett will start the innings

Young batsmen Jacob Bethel and Ben Duckett will open for England. Whereas Joe Root will come out to bat at number-3. Captain Harry Brook, Jos Buttler and Sam Curran will handle the innings in the middle order. Talking about the bowling department of England, Joffra Archer and Josh Tong will together lead the pace attack. Whereas spin trio Will Jacques, Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid will challenge the Indian batsmen.

Jos Buttler will play his 200th ODI

England’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler will achieve a big achievement as soon as he enters this match. Actually, Butler will play his 200th ODI match. He made his One Day International debut against Pakistan in Dubai on 21 February 2012, after which he has remained an important player for England. Butler will join the few selected players to play 200 ODI matches for England.

Everyone’s eyes will be on Team India’s playing 11.

All eyes are going to be on Team India’s playing 11 in the first ODI match against England. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are certain to play. Either Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul may get a chance as wicketkeeper. However, there is every possibility that KL Rahul will keep. Shubhman Gill and vice-captain Shreyas Iyer are also sure to play as captain.

The team management and captain Gill will have to struggle the most in choosing all-rounders and bowlers, because Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel and Shivam Dubey are available as all-rounder options. In such a situation, it remains to be seen who will play the role of both bowling and batting well in the playing 11. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the fast bowling department. Now it remains to be seen who will support him among the famous Krishna or Arshdeep Singh.
