Monsoon Rain Prediction: Monsoon became sluggish after heavy rain for several days, Meteorological Department told whether the situation will change or not
New Delhi. After providing heavy rains in large parts of the country for several days, the monsoon has slowed down again. As a result, the heat from the sun has increased in large areas from North to Central India and the East. The Meteorological Department has given information about the weakening of monsoon once again. According to the Meteorological Department, there has been a change in the low pressure line or trough of monsoon. The monsoon trough has moved towards the north. Due to which rainfall has reduced in North, West and Central India including Delhi. This has again created problems for the farmers growing paddy in large areas of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no cyclonic system active in the Bay of Bengal. Due to which monsoon is not progressing. At present monsoon rains are occurring in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough is likely to move towards the south again in the next three days. After which rain will start again in North, West, East and Central India. If a cyclone forms in the Bay of Bengal, then large parts of the country will again see heavy rains. If the forecast of the Meteorological Department turns into reality, then people will also get relief from the heat and humidity in these areas.

The Meteorological Department had already predicted that due to the effect of El Nino, there will be less than average rainfall in the monsoon season this year. Till the first week of July, there was 40 percent less rainfall than average across the country. Due to heavy rains in between, this decrease decreased to some extent, but in the coming times too, the average rainfall is likely to be less due to the monsoon being sometimes active and sometimes sluggish. Before this, there was La Nina effect for two consecutive years. Due to which there was more than average rain as well as severe cold.
