Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s first of the three movies from 2026 is now available to stream on HBO Max. Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the film comes from A24 and garnered a lot of praise upon its initial release in theaters earlier this year.
The Drama has finally arrived on the HBO Max platform for fans who want to stream it from the comfort of their homes.
Besides Zendaya and Pattinson, the comedy movie also features Hailey Gates, Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, Zoe Winters, Sydney Lemmon, and Jordyn Curet, among others.

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s The Drama originally hit the theaters on April 3, 2026. It not only won over critics and audiences but also became a huge box office hit. Currently, it holds a solid Tomatometer score of 76% and Popcornmeter score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes.
During its theatrical run, The Drama went on to make over $105 million globally, against a budget of $28 million.
The official synopsis for the romantic dark comedy reads, “A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails.”
Director Borgli has also written the movie while being a producer for it too. Amy Greene, Chris Stinson, Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster, and Tyler Campellone have also served as the producers.
Besides its HBO Max debut today, The Drama will also soon get its HBO premiere on August 1, 2026. Previously, it had received a digital debut on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home on May 5, 2026. The Drama was released on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on July 7, 2026.
Besides The Drama, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson were also seen together in the recently released The Odyssey by Christopher Nolan. Their third collaboration of the year, Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated Dune: Part 3 co-starring Timothée Chalamet, is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
