Who can apply?
Women applying for this scheme must be between 18 and 70 years of age . Candidates must also have at least passed the 10th grade . Women from rural areas are given priority to increase access to insurance services in villages.
Stipend will be given for the first three years
Under the Bima Sakhi Scheme, selected women are given a monthly stipend for a specified period.
- First year: ₹7,000 per month
- Second year: ₹6,000 per month
- Third year: ₹5,000 per month
Apart from this, commission received on sale of insurance policies and additional incentive amount for better performance also helps in increasing the income of women.
After training, you can become an authorized LIC agent.
Under the scheme, women receive insurance-related training. Upon completion, they can work as authorized LIC agents. However, they must meet set performance standards to continue receiving the stipend.
Who will not get the benefit?
