A special train will run between Katra and Haridwar this week, with the following route and schedule.

Good news for rail passengers. Jammu Division of Northern Railway has decided to run a special train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Haridwar in view of the huge rush of pilgrims on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya. The special train running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Haridwar will run as train number 04606, while the return service from Haridwar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will run as train number 04605.

Detailed schedule of Vaishno Devi-Haridwar special train

  • Train No. 04606 Vaishno Devi-Haridwar Special train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station on Sunday, June 14 at 06:15 PM and arrive Haridwar at 06:30 AM on Monday, June 15. The journey time will be approximately 12 hours and 15 minutes.
  • Train No. 04606 Haridwar-Vaishno Devi Special will depart Haridwar on Monday, June 15, at 5:20 PM and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, June 16. The journey time will be approximately 13 hours and 40 minutes.

This special train will stop at Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur), Jammu Tawi, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana Junction, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur Junction and Roorkee stations en route.

A total of 16 coaches will be installed in this special train for the convenience of passengers, which include:

  • AC 3-Tier
  • AC 2-Tier
