$750 taxidermy raccoon souvenir sells out in US after Erling Haaland purchase
The Norway star returned home on Monday after his side’s World Cup quarterfinal 1-2 defeat to England, turning heads as he stepped off the plane at Oslo Gardermoen Airport carrying the raccoon with its whiskey bottle in one hand and a Dolce & Gabbana tote bag in the other, Business Insider reported.
A photo of Haaland carrying the raccoon, captioned: “It followed me home,” quickly went viral on his Instagram account, attracting more than four million likes.

The raccoon, dubbed the “Whiskey Raccoon,” was bought at Wild Bill’s Western Store, a well-known souvenir shop in Texas, British newspaper The Independent reported.
It sold out soon after photos of Haaland holding the critter went viral, 7News reported.
The 25-year-old striker also bought some cowboy hats and boots, a longhorn belt buckle, and the now-viral ‘Y’all can kiss my Dallas’ t-shirt from the store.
Store owner Julie Newport said the raccoon is produced in limited numbers because the artist behind the handcrafted pieces has retired.
Haaland, known for his trademark blond man bun, animated facial expressions and prolific goalscoring, has emerged as one of the breakout personalities of this year’s World Cup.
He has dominated social media with a wave of memes, viral clips and fan-made songs, including the popular Manchester City chant “Haaland (Ha Ha Ha).”
Off the pitch, Haaland has also attracted attention for his distinctive fashion choices, often appearing with rare Hermès bags, Chanel cashmere beanies and other high-end designer accessories.
