Hanumangarh Medical College is now named ‘Balidani Yoddha Major Vikas Bhambhu Government Medical College’, Martyr’s family expresses gratitude

The Rajasthan government has taken the historic decision to change the name of Hanumangarh Medical College to “Balidani Yoddha Major Vikas Bhambhu Government Medical College, Hanumangarh” . Following this decision, the family members of Martyr Major Vikas Bhambhu met the District Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Khushal Yadav and expressed their gratitude.

The martyr’s family stated that the District Collector’s recommendation to the state government proved decisive in this important decision. They added that naming the medical college after Major Vikas Bhambhu is not only a matter of honor for the family, but also a matter of pride for the entire Hanumangarh district and the state.

District Collector Dr. Khushal Yadav said that it is society’s responsibility to honor the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice while protecting the country. He added that naming the medical college after martyr Major Vikas Bhambhu will inspire future generations to serve the nation, foster patriotism, and dedication.

On this occasion, BJP State General Secretary Kailash Meghwal , martyr’s maternal grandfather and senior leader Mangtu Ram Godara , martyr’s uncle and senior advocate Mani Ram Bhambhu , advocate Sukhveer Bhambhu , Laxman Dhetarwal , youth leader Sushil Godara , Mohit Bhambhu , Sandeep Saharan , Shankar Dhetarwal along with members of the martyr’s family and other dignitaries were present.

The martyr’s family welcomed the Rajasthan government’s decision, stating that Major Vikas Bhambhu’s sacrifice will always be remembered and that medical students will continue to receive the message of service and dedication to the nation. This decision is considered an important initiative to honor the brave soldiers and convey their contributions to the new generation.
