Strict standards for living spaces
According to the new rules, Haj pilgrims will be required to provide various basic facilities at their accommodation. It is mandatory to have its name and the name of the operator clearly written outside every building. It will now be necessary to have lifts in multi-storey buildings and to arrange ramps for disabled people. Apart from this, proper functioning of air conditioning systems in rooms and common areas and cleaning of filters from time to time are also part of the rules.
Special care for passengers’ facilities
The administration has given clear instructions that the passengers should get Wi-Fi facility in the hotel itself, the speed of which should be at least 1Mbps Per user. Cold and bottled water should be available on every floor. Additionally, the hotel must have online payment facilities and the reception area 24 hour Should remain open. To handle the crowd, operators will have to make a special plan, with separate routes and clear signage so that Haj pilgrims do not face any problem in reaching the Grand Mosque (Haram) and other holy sites.
