India is the savior again, ‘friend’ Modi stopped Putin in nuclear attack on Ukraine!
In 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a nuclear attack on Ukraine. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi stopped him. Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski claimed that. At the same time, he also praised India’s role in the Russo-Ukraine war.
In an interview to media ANI, Bartoshevsky said, “India’s decades-old relationship with Russia makes New Delhi unique. India has repeatedly asked for peace.” He further said, “Modi is a well-known and respected world leader. India has a long-standing relationship with the Russian Federation and before that the Soviet Union. Putin values Modi’s views. Modi is one of the few people who can exert some pressure and influence on Putin. Not only that, but New Delhi can play an important role in ending any conflict. Putin was going to launch a nuclear attack on Ukraine in 2022. But Modi stopped him at the right time.”
Earlier, Poland had objected to India’s purchase of Russian oil, over which the two countries were embroiled in a diplomatic conflict. But Poland’s deputy foreign minister claimed that the differences between the two countries over crude imports from Russia have been resolved. He said, “Warsaw criticized India’s purchase of Russian oil in the past. We said that through this, India indirectly helped Russia in the war. But it is also true that India is benefiting from buying oil from Russia in the recent situation. We have come to understand this. Currently, there is no dispute between the two countries.”
